Vision Offering 2023 | 2024: Thanksgiving!

Psalms‬ ‭116‬:‭12 (TPT) – “So now, what can I ever give back to God to repay him for the blessings he’s poured out on me?”

In the highs & the lows, the mountains & the valleys of our lives, the fingerprints of God’s faithfulness and goodness are evident!

On the mountain tops of celebration, we can thank Him for His favour and His many, many blessings. In the valleys of challenge, we can thank Him for His faithfulness – that He is our anchor and our strength as we trust Him for the future.

On the mountain tops & in the valleys – and no matter the season – we can decide to be a thankful people. – and no matter the season – we can decide to be a thankful people.

Thankfulness is one of the most important ways that we acknowledge and worship God in our daily lives. As we do so, it changes the whole atmosphere of our lives. It lifts our eyes, stirs our spirits and builds our faith!

That’s why Vision Offering 2023 is all about: THANKSGIVING

As God’s people, as His church, let’s respond to God’s goodness in our lives with thanksgiving! Scripture tells us that our generosity actually produces more thanksgiving. As we say thank you with our finances, it produces a harvest of thanksgiving in our lives. The way to be thankful is to be generous!

2 Corinthians 9:11 (ESV) – You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

This year’s Vision Offering will go towards three significant areas we believe in as a Thrive family:

Causes of Christ

The cause of Christ is always to reach the world and to help the marginalized and hungry. Part of our Vision Offering will go towards championing our missions efforts in Zimbabwe and Mozambique; and also to increase our food pantry so that Hope Bags can continue to bless struggling families.

Campus Development

At Thrive, we are warm, authentic, passionate and future minded. It’s who we are! And so, we are passionate about developing our campuses for the future. Investing into new technology, saving for new energy solutions, building into our leaders, and investing into our next gen facilities.

Creating the Future

Every community deserves a great church home. Vision Offering 2023 will continue to go towards saving for a new Thrive campus in a new community, and it will go towards our multiyear project in Edenvale of extending the café and foyer.

The tithe of Vision Offering 2023 will go towards helping developing churches in our nation with a cash injection towards their vision. As we build Thrive’s future, we will also passionately help other South African churches build theirs!
