Partnership is all about making the decision to call Thrive Church your home. Partnership is your opportunity to take your commitment to the vision and values at Thrive Church to the next level.

Becoming a Partner at Thrive Church requires 4 things:
Follow Jesus
This means making a decision to make Jesus your Lord and saviour and to become his disciple by growing towards being Christ centred. Part of this decision will involve being baptised in water. We believe baptism is an outward declaration of an inward decision.
Be With Jesus
Being with Jesus is the devotional time that you spend with Him. We should endeavour to incorporate prayer, Scripture and worship into the time we spend with Jesus. As followers of Jesus we need to commit to living a lifestyle that honours and glorifies God. Through His word and in His presence He will continue to point us towards living a lifestyle that honours and pleases Him.
Become like Jesus
Once we are spending time with Jesus, we will start to become like Jesus. This is formational. As we get to know Jesus, we are slowly formed and transformed into His image. As we become more like Him, we learn to honour. We honour up – we honour our senior leaders and any other leaders that we are under. We honour down – we honour everyone regardless of who they are. And we are to honour all around – we honour our colleagues, families and friends. As we become like Jesus, we also start to do things with excellence. Excellence honours God and inspires people and so we should strive to be excellent in everything we do. Lastly, in becoming more like Jesus, people and community become important to us. As such, we should commit to being part of a Life Group where we can disciple and be discipled by others
Do what Jesus did
This is missional. As we spend time with Jesus, we become like Him and then we can’t help but do what He did. One of the ways we see this working out in our lives is serving. Serving at church in one of our many different teams is how we practically love, care for and build up the people in our church. Another way we see ourselves doing what Jesus did is when we adopt a spirit of generosity. We should tithe and give regularly to help build God’s church as this will leave a legacy long after we have gone.
