Partnership is your opportunity to take your commitment to the vision and values at Thrive Church to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>In order for you to become a partner at Thrive Church you will need to attend our 3-week Move Forward course. To find out more about Move Forward, click on the Move Forward tab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Becoming a Partner at Thrive Church requires 4 things:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Follow Jesus<\/strong><br \/>\nThis means making a decision to make Jesus your Lord and saviour and to become his disciple by growing towards being Christ centred. Part of this decision will involve being\u00a0<strong>baptised in water.<\/strong>\u00a0We believe baptism is an outward declaration of an inward decision.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be With Jesus<\/strong><br \/>\nBeing with Jesus is the devotional time that you spend with Him. We should endeavour to incorporate\u00a0<strong>prayer, Scripture and worship<\/strong>\u00a0into the time we spend with Jesus.\u00a0As followers of Jesus we need to commit to living a lifestyle that honours and glorifies God. Through His word and in His presence He will continue to point us towards living a lifestyle that honours and pleases Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Become like Jesus<\/strong><br \/>\nOnce we are spending time with Jesus, we will start to become like Jesus. This is formational. As we get to know Jesus, we are slowly formed and transformed into His image. As we become more like Him, we learn to\u00a0<strong>honour.<\/strong>\u00a0We honour up \u2013 we honour our senior leaders and any other leaders that we are under. We honour down \u2013 we honour everyone regardless of who they are. And we are to honour all around \u2013 we honour our colleagues, families and friends. As we become like Jesus, we also start to do things with\u00a0<strong>excellence.\u00a0<\/strong>Excellence honours God and inspires people and so\u00a0we should strive to be excellent in everything we do. Lastly, in becoming more like Jesus,\u00a0<strong>p<\/strong><strong>eople and community<\/strong>\u00a0become important to us. As such, we should commit to being part of a Life Group where we can disciple and be discipled by others<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do what Jesus did<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is missional. As we spend time with Jesus, we become like Him and then we can\u2019t help but do what He did. One of the ways we see this working out in our lives is\u00a0<strong>serving.\u00a0<\/strong>Serving at church in one of our many different teams is how we practically love, care for and build up the people in our church.
